L.A.X says he will be bigger than Davido and Wizkid in one year

Nigerian singer L.A.X, in a exclusive interview with Star Tracker, speaks on his successes, recent projects, plans, hopes and more . Read the excerpts below:- What New Projects Are You Working On At The Moment? Right now I’m working on my album. Last year I was working on it but I lost my hard drive on which I had close to 90 songs on. This happened early last year after I dropped ‘Run away’. I felt like there was a reason I lost those songs, so I focused on creating a new sound for myself. So when you hear my music now you will notice that the sound is different from what I had on ‘Caro’ or ‘Ginger’. It’s now a different vibe all together. I just felt like that is the direction God wants me to go. Right now my album is on the way and it will be ready before the end of the year. Where Do You See Yourself In The Next One Year? I will be as big as Wizkid and Davido, even bigger than them. There’s nobody that can’t be. I let my music speak for me, I have sat with people

This is why Peter and Paul (p square) had to split

Months after the split of the duo Psquare, Peter one half of the group explains that it was the disrespect directed towards himself and his family that pushed him to quit. Peter Okoye,  now known as Mr P, says his brother Paul would insult his wife and kids and expect a Psquare performance moments later. Peter married  Lola Omotayo-Okoye  in 2015 and they have two children named Cameron and Aliona. “In life what we call family value is important,” said the ‘Ebeano’ singer said on Citizen TV in Kenya. “The fans want Psquare but how many times do you want Psquare to come back and break up. “We’ve broken up three times and the same issue is still there. So if Psquare is going to come back we need to settle that issue. Psquare might come back, they might not come back. Peter said he must put his wife and children first because of the vow he made on his wedding day. “I pulled out the plug because I felt the disrespect coming from my family (was) getting too much,” he said. “Th

ASUU strike again?

The Academic Staff Union of Universities has said that there are three areas in the Memorandum of Action it signed with the Federal Government in September 2017, which have not been fulfilled. According to ASUU, the union cannot but continue to ask questions. Its President, Prof. Biodun Ogunyemi, stated this in Abuja in an interview with our correspondent, noting that prominent among the three was the “NEEDS assessment funds” which, he said, totalled more than N200bn annually. Asked whether the union would not embark on a strike action in 2018, Ogunyemi said the possibility of a strike action would be determined by the Federal Government’s commitment to the agreements it reached with the union. He said, “Well, that is if the government works with us to deliver on the minimum which we have on the table now; we have an eight-point Memorandum of Action and, maybe, we have met three or thereabout. There are three or four pending. We are going back to them. “Particular among them
